-If your appliance has been dropped or fallen into water or any other liquid
do not use it or try to repair it. Take it to the JOCCA technical service.
-For your safety and for the appliance to work correctly, always use JOCCA
spare parts and accessories.
-Do not place the appliance on a warm surface.
-Do not use a device neither with wet or sweat body nor with wet feet or
hands.
-Do not use a device if it is wet.
-WARNING! This appliance is designed for use on feet and heels. Do not
use this device anywhere else on the body. -For hygienic reasons, it is re-
commended to not share each one of the rollers with others.
-If you have any skin conditions or other medical issues, please consult with
your physician before to use.
-Do not use on skin that is red, irritated, inflamed, infected or blistered. Give
up using immediately if you experience any of these issues for several days
in order to decrease the diseases.
-Do not use on skin for more than 2-3 seconds at a time. Overuse may cause
skin irritation.
-Do not use a roller when you found it worn or nicked edges on the roller.
-Seek for medical attention if skin becomes severely irritated or bleeds.
WARNING ABOUT THE BATTERIES
-Remove the battery from its compartment, if you are not going to use the
device for a long period of time.
-Remember that batteries must be deposited in the specialized containers for
battery collection.
-If you want to throw out the device, always remove the batteries before
doing it.
-If the battery has some kind of leak never handle it with bare hands.
-Replace the battery when it is worn out (as in fig. 3).
-Only the batteries of the same model or equivalent to the recommended
can be used.
-The battery must be placed in accordance with the indicated correct po-
la¬rity.
-Never place the battery compartment near fire or heat source.
-Do not throw the batteries into fire or place the control unit to the sun.
-Do not mix new batteries or the old and worn-out.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
REMEMBER: This product is only intended for use in feet and heels. Do not
use this device anywhere else on the body.
Note: First of all, you must clean your feet and dry the skin fully before to
use the roller
REMEMBER: Do not use on broken or bleeding skin.
1. Insert 2 AA batteries into the battery compartment.
2. Remove the protective cover from the unit when this is ready to use.
3. Select the roller you want and place it into the unit. Check the section
"Changing the roller" to learn how to remove and replace the roller.
4. Turn on the unit by pressing the safety switch lock,in the center of the On/
Off switch, and at the same time push the switch up (fig.5). Gently rotate
(back and forth or side to side) over the callous/corm/hard skin area for
2-3 seconds. Do not glide hardly the unit over desired area. The unit will
stop if it is pressed too hard on the skin. Turn the unit off and check if you
achieved the softness you desire. If not, turn on the unit and go over the area
for 2-3 more seconds and check again. Continue to use this method until the
level of softness is obtained.
5. Turn the unit off (fig.6).
6. Rinse the skin or use a wet towel to get rid of the excess dead particles.
7. To clean the device, please see the "cleaning and storage" section.
8. Keep the protective cover on your unit when it is not in use.
CHANGING THE ROLLERS
-The roller contains fragile parts, Please handle them with care.
-Please take extra care when replacing the production.
-REMEMBER: rollers that are broken of worn could cause damage to the
skin. Replace the roller when you find any defects to the roller or when you
find them less effective.
Make sure the unit is turned off before replacing the roller.
1. Pull down the release button, on the side of the unit, while the end cap is
facing up and the roller will pop out (fig.7&8).
2. After the roller pops out, remove it from the cylinder holding the end cap
of the roller (fig.9) and dispose of it.
3. Remove the roller from the replacement container (fig.10), by pressing the
bottom with your pointer finger and catching it in the palm of your opposite
hand.
4. Place a new roller into the unit until you hear a 'click' sound. Be sure to
insert the new roller into the unit with the thinner side going into the unit
(fig.11&12).
5. After placing a new roller into the unit check that it has been firmly insta-
lled with no signs of shaky or loose parts (fig.13).
