SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the vacuum cleaner, basic safety precautions must be taken.
Read all operating instructions before using the vacuum cleaner.
•
The appliance is intended for domestic use only.
•
Do not leave the vacuum cleaner unattended when the power plug is
plugged in. Unplug the power cord when not in use.
•
Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
•
Do not let children play with the device.
•
Use the device only as described in this manual. Use only accessories
from the manufacturer.
•
Do not use the device if it has a damaged power cord or power plug.
If the vacuum cleaner is not operating properly, has been dropped,
damaged, left outdoors or dropped in water, bring the unit to a service
repair center.
•
Do not carry the unit by the power cord or pull on the power cord. No
not close any doors on the power cord, do not lay the power cord around
sharp edges or corners. Do not run the vacuum cleaner over the power
cord. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
•
Do not pull the power plug out by the power cord. Hold the power plug in
your hand to disconnect.
•
Do not touch the power plug or the vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
•
Do not insert any objects into the device openings. Do not operate the
device with the openings in the housing blocked. Keep the device free
from dust, lint, hair and anything that may obstruct the airflow.
•
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all body parts away from the
openings and moving parts.
•
Turn off the power before unplugging the power plug.
•
Be careful when vacuuming stairs.
•
Do not use around flammable or explosive liquids.
•
Do not vacuum burning or smoking objects such as cigarettes, matches or
ashes.
