We quit our day jobs to build the product we wished already
existed. At that time, there weren't any earphones that could be
admired the way other accessories are. We could all relate to
how beautifully designed products such as watches, wallets, and
sunglasses truly enriched our everyday lives. When gathering the
essentials each morning, we always reached for items that had
been crafted without any trade-offs.
Sudio is disrupting the industry by transforming earphones from
an electronic product into a wearable accessory with studio-
quality sound. We looked to the watch industry for inspiration,
where the product was created primarily to serve a purpose -
displaying time - but from there, evolved into an accessory with
greater meaning. The way the product complements an outfit, for
instance, has become just as important as its original function.
