16 FINISH WALL PREPARATION
Make appropriate holes to finished wall. Pfister recommends that all Tub Spout and
Shower Outlet holes be 1 1 / 4 " diameter. For center hole on plaster wall use 4 3 / 4 "
diameter.
CAUTION: Make sure that leak tests and flushing are performed before preparing
the finished wall.
CAUTION: Maintenance
1. Replacement parts may be available at the store where you
purchased your faucet.
2. When replacement parts are not available, please write or call
Pfister Consumer Service.
3. Always turn off water and relieve pressure before working on
your faucet.

17 THIN WALL INSTALLATION
Knock out Center Section (17A) of Plaster Guard (17B) and remove Screws (17D). For
installation of thin walls, use Support Plate (17C) in addition to Plaster Guard (17B). For
installation to other wall types, do not use Support Plate (17C). Use of Plaster Guard
(17B) is optional. For center hole on a thin wall use 4" diameter.

18 REVERSED INLET LINES
If hot and cold inlets are reversed (back-to-back installation), (18C) unscrew the
plasterguard and bonnet assembly. Rotate the Bonnet Assembly (18A) 180° with Notch
(18B) facing up and reassemble.
