1.
Remove the battery earth cable.
Open the entrance to the rearlight units.
2.
In the bottom of the the boot , on the right side, near the right taillight, there is a rubber grommet.
Drill a 13 mm hole in the rubber grommet.
Fit the rubber grommet in the hole.
3.
Lead the wiringharness in the boot and lead the 8-pole end through the hole to the socket.
Watch out for heat!
Pull the coverplate over the harness.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as follows:
Trailer lighting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Earth
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight
Mount the socket to the socket plate.
4.
On both rearlightunits a connector is located.
Disconnect these two connectors.
Connect the wiringharness end with the red, yellow, black and grey wires corresponding with those connectors on the left side.
Connect the wiringharness end with the green, blue, brown and grey wires corresponding with those connectors on the right side.
Fit the white wire to the earth chassis.
5.
Reconnect the battery and check all electric functions, with the trailer/caravan connected.
Reinstall the disassembled parts.
