SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
General Instructions
•
The bike trailer must not be used to transport people.
• Do not make any technical modifications to the unit. This can lead to
dangers in road traffic and the manufacturer's warranty will be voided.
•
Always wear a helmet.
•
Do not use the bike trailer on stony, uneven terrain and in dangerous
traffic situations.
•
Only load the bike trailer up to the top edge so that things falling out do
not endanger road traffic.
•
Before using the bicycle trailer, contact the bicycle manufacturer to
ensure that your bicycle is suitable for towing a bicycle trailer.
•
Do not use the bicycle trailer with motorised or electric motor-assisted
wheels.
•
If you use the bicycle trailer in traffic, it may be necessary to attach
reflectors that comply with road traffic regulations to the rear and sides of
the bicycle trailer. Inform yourself about local regulations in your country.
•
Regularly check the drawbar, connectors, frame, seat belts, lights (if fitted),
tyres and wheels to ensure that the parts are in good condition.
•
Before each ride, check the screw connections and make sure that they
are always well tightened.
•
The bicycle being towed must be in perfect condition. The brakes should
work perfectly. With a bicycle trailer (and load), your braking distance will
increase.
Special notes
•
This bike trailer must not be loaded with more than 45 kg.
•
The recommended maximum speed for this bike trailer is 16 km/h.
•
The drawbar load for this bicycle trailer must not be less than 30 N and not
