Before Initial Use

Before you can use the appliance, you must:
• unpack the scope of supply.
• clean the griddles (see chapter "Cleaning and Storage").
• oil the griddles.

Unpacking the Scope of Supply

CAUTION!
❐ Caution: danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and
pets.
Unpack all parts and check the scope of supply for completeness and transport damage
(see chapter "Scope of Supply and Appliance Overview"). If you fi nd any damage to the
components, do not use them (!), but contact the customer service department.

Oiling the Griddles

Lightly oil the griddles before the fi rst activation of the appliance using a paper towel.
After that, no additional oil should be necessary. If required, however, you can reoil the
griddles.
