This clock makes a cuckoo sound on the hour. At 1
o'clock you should hear "cuckoo";
At 2 o'clock you should hear "cuckoo cuckoo";
At 3 o'clock you should hear "cuckoo cuckoo cuckoo" and so on.
The bird sound is automatically switched off form 22:00PM - 5:00AM
Please use new 1.5 V high-energy batteries. If the battery is lower than 1.35V, the clock may not function
correctly.
Do not use the clock hands to adjust the time, as this may damage the mechanism. Please use the dial on
the back to adjust (see image on the right).
a. Turn the clock hands to the position of 12:55 before installing the battery. Turn the
hands clockwise.
b. Open the back case. After installing the battery [3 x C (LR14)], turn the minute hands to 12 to trigger the bird sound. The first bird sound will
be the standard sound of 1 o'clock.
c. After hearing the first bird sound, adjust the time to the correct time.
d. Install the pendulum. The clock must be perpendicular to ensure the pendulum functions correctly. Insert the curved end of the pendulum
through the oval hole on the base of the clock and hook to the small, black H-frame rod.

Neglect the present time and reset by installing or replacing the battery.

The first sound is 1AM. For example, if the time is now 5:26AM, you just need to press the button 5 times continuously. And the
next bird sound will be the cuckoo call for 6AM.
Use the button to play, hear and advance the birdsongs.
12x Press to play the 12 birds in a cycle. The order of the 12 birds cannot be changed, but the point at which
the cycle starts (at the next full hour) may be chosen.
Press to play the cuckoo 1-12 times in a cycle. Continue to press, until the number of calls match the current hour.

Press to determine a single bird. Select either birdsong 1-12 or the cuckoo. The last played bird is the current.
