Firs use of the steam cooker
Remove the steam cooker from the packing and check all the parts are inside and in good condition.
Wash, with warm water and liquid soap, the lid, the 3 containers, the rice container and turbo ring than rinse and
wipe all. Clean the internal part of the water tank and the base with a soft wet cloth and wipe well.
Hot it works
Place the steam cooker on a stable surface, dry and heat resistant, at a reasonable distance from walls or fur-
niture.
Do not put the steam cooker under shelfs. The base and accessories are not for use into oven or on fire.
Fill the water tank only with fresh and clean water. Do not use other liquids, do not add salt, pepper, etc.
When filling the tank with water, make sure to not overfill the MAX level as indicated on the water level indicator
inside the tank.
Plug the power supply cord into the socket.
Set time cooking with the timer until max. 60 minutes; the working light switch on. After about 3-4 minutes, steam
start coming out.
When cooking is complete, the timer and the working light turn off. If there is a lack of water while cooking, the
steam cooker will automatically stop.
To remove hot parts, always use kitchen gloves in order to avoid scalds.
When cooking is complete, always unplug the power supply cord from the socket.
Use of the containers
The steam cooker is provided with three steam containers: according to the needs, you can use one or two or
three steam bowls. These containers are stackable (on each other) and are numbered, so that it can be easier to
understand their correct use: the container numbered as 1 is the lower one, the container numbered as 2 is the
intermediate one, the container numbered as 3 is the upper one .
When using only one container, place the food inside the container numbered as 1 and then place it on the base
of the steam cooker, covering the container with the lid.
When using two or three containers, please keep the order of the containers as described, otherwise they will
not fit correctly.
The containers have some holes on their base surface: these holes are necessary to allow the steam to evapo-
rate, therefore should not be blocked completely.
Always put the biggest piece of food into the lower steam bowl as the time cooking is longer.
If cooking poultry or other meat and vegetables, always put the meat into the lower steam bowl in order to avoid
that liquids drop on the rest of food.
Do not add herbs or spices before the end of cooking.
The steam cooker is also equipped with a container for rice cooking, which must be placed inside one of the
containers. To cook the rice in addition to the water in the tank add water even inside the basket in quantities
equal to the amount of rice (100gr rice = 100gr water).
