Quick Start Guide
1. Insert Trash Bag
Remove the liner ring. Insert the trash
bag through the ring. Tuck back completely
into the base and place ring on base.
2. Place Liner Ring on Waste Receptacle
3. Insert Batteries
NOTE: Please make sure unit is set up on the floor.
If put up on a table top or desk top underneath
direct light, that may cause interference with the
sensor.Locate the battery compartment. Open the
battery compartment and insert batteries (not included)
4.Activate Motion Sensor
Remove the protective plastic shield on the lid. To activate the motion sensor,
press the Open/Close button. The green LED should blink on/off to indicate
that the motion sensor is now activated.
5. Using the Motion Sensor Waste Bin
Place your hand or object above the motion sensor (within a few inches/cm).
The motion sensor will trigger the waste bin lid to open. After several seconds
delay, the lid will close automatically.
Warning: Do not force lid closed with your hand to avoid damage.

To Keep the Waste Bin Lid Open
To keep the waste bin lid Open while cooking or cleaning up after a
meal, simply follow the steps below
1. Press the Open/Close button. The lid will open and remain in the
