If the speaker tower does not work properly as desired, please
use the following checklist:
Malfunction
No power / function
No sound
Sound is distorted
AUX in/AUX out sound issues
Possible causes/measures
Please ensure that the unit is being
powered or fully charged by the Echo Dot
mains power cable.
Check whether the tower's internal cables
are properly installed into the Echo Dot via
the USB and AUX port.
Please ensure that the cables are properly
installed into the Echo Dot, and your unit is
set up properly.
Check that you are using a 3.5mm to 3.5mm
AUX cable to connect the speaker to your
device.
Ensure that if connecting to a device such
as a phone or tablet, that you are using the
AUX in port.
Ensure that if connecting an external
speaker to the unit that you are using the
AUX-out port.
