1. ALLGEMEINE BESCHREIBUNG
The user manual is designed to assist in the safe and
trouble-free use of the device. The product is designed
and manufactured in accordance with strict technical
guidelines,
using
state-of-the-art
technologies
components. Additionally, it is produced in compliance
with the most stringent quality standards.
DO NOT USE THE DEVICE UNLESS YOU HAVE
THOROUGHLY READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS
USER MANUAL.
To increase the product life of the device and to ensure
a trouble-free operation, use it in accordance with this user
manual and regularly perform the maintenance tasks. The
technical data and specifications in this user manual are
up to date. The manufacturer reserves the right to make
changes associated with quality improvement.

2. USAGE SAFETY
ATTENTION! Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in serious injury or even
death.
Whenever "device" or "product" are used in the warnings
and instructions, it shall mean Metal Folder, Metal Sheet
Bender. When in use, do not put your hands or other items
inside the device!
2.1. SAFETY AT THE WORKPLACE
a)
Make sure the workplace is orderly and well lit.
A messy or poorly lit workplace may lead to accidents.
Try to anticipate what may happen, observe what is
going on and use common sense when working with
the device.
b)
This device is not intended to be used by persons
(including children) with limited physical, sensory
or mental aptitude or lack of experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have received instruction
from this person as to how the device is used.
c)
This device is not intended to be used by persons

Children or unauthorised persons are forbidden from
entering a work station. (A distraction may result in
a loss of control over the device).

During workpiece working, take care of strangers and
their safety.

Observe the workpiece carefully during working to
avoid its damage and prevent any possible hazard.
j)
Maintain order and remove any dust, debris and waste
material after working.
k)
If more elements are manufactured, they should be
stored in such a way before and after working that
allows keeping order at the workstation.
REMEMBER! When using the device, protect children
and other bystanders.
2.2. PERSONAL SAFETY
a)
Do not use the device when tired, ill or under the
influence of alcohol, narcotics or medication which
can significantly impair the ability to operate the
device.
b)
When working with the device, use common sense
and stay alert. Temporary loss of concentration whilst
using the device may lead to serious injuries.
c)
Use personal protection equipment as required
for working with the device, specified in section 1
(Legend). The use of correct, approved personal
protection equipment reduces the risk of suffering an
injury.

d)
Do not overestimate your abilities. When using the
device keep your balance and remain stable at all
times. This will ensure better control over the device
in unexpected situations.
e)
Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair,
clothes and gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothing, jewellery or long hair may get caught in
moving parts.
f)
Before device operation, remove all regulating tools
or wrenches. Any tool or wrench left inside a rotating
part of the device can result in injuries.
g)
The material to be worked should be free of impurities.
h)
Do not touch movable parts or accessories during
device operation.
i)
Use protective gloves to avoid being hurt by sharp
edges.
j)
Do not work elements made of hard materials.
k)
It is forbidden to interfere with the structure of
the device in order to change its parameters or
construction.
l)
Do not touch the gear during device operation.
2.3. SAFE DEVICE USE
a)
Do not overload the device. Use appropriate tools for
the given task. A correctly selected device will perform
the task for which it was designed better and in a safer
manner.
b)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device, who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
c)
Maintain the device in a good technical state. Before
each use check for general damage and especially
check for cracked parts or elements and for any other
conditions which may impact the safe operation of
the device. If damage is discovered, hand over the
device for repair before use.
d)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
e)
Device repair or maintenance should be carried out by
qualified persons, only using original spare parts. This
will ensure safe use.
f)
To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
g)
When transporting and handling the device between
the warehouse and the destination, take into account
the occupational health and safety principles for
manual transport operations which apply in the
country
h)
Use the device to work elements of parameters
conforming with the data given in the technical data
table. Do not exceed the permissible dimensions of
the worked material.
i)
Do not work two workpieces at the same time.
j)
Long workpieces must be supported and set stably for
working.
k)
Place the device on a stable, dry and flat surface
of a size that is adapted to the device and worked
material overall dimensions.
l)
The floor at the workstation should be anti-slip
3. USE GUIDELINES
A bending machine is a device designed for manual
bending of metal elements.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from non-
intended use of the device.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE/DEVICE USE
Before commencing work, the bending machine should be
attached to the worktop or working space in order to ensure
a stable and sufficient operating space.
Operating instructions:
Loosen the distance adjustment screws (1).
Insert the steel sheet between the bending beam (2)
and the supporting shelf (3).
Adjust the distance between the elements using the
adjusting screws (1).
Pull the handles (4) upwards until the desired shape
is achieved.
Pull out the workpiece after lowering the handles (4).

3.3. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Keep the levers and adjustment elements clean, free
of remainders of lubricants.
Rotary elements and/or contact surfaces shall be kept
clean, free of rust traces and periodically protected
with thin films of specialistic oil.
Use cleaners without corrosive substances to clean
each surface.
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
before reusing it.
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
In case of longer device disuse, protect it with grease
for the storage period. To ensure safe use, remove the
grease excess before reuse.
