4. ASSEMBLY

WARNING : Before assembling your appliance, carefully read the
safety instructions in this manual.
1. Remove the assembly nut (14) from the bottom of the pole, insert the
pole correctly into the center hole of the base (13) then fasten the
assembly nut (14).
2. Unscrew and remove the blade's locking nut (3) from the motor shaft
(7) by turning it clockwise.
3. Unscrew and remove the lock ring of the rear grill (5) from the motor
shaft (7) by rotating it counterclockwise.
4. Insert the rear grill (6) on the motor shaft/block (the carrying handle
must be on the top). Then screw the lock ring of the rear grill (5) by
turning it clockwise.
5. Place the blade (4) on the motor shaft by taking care to align the slot
of the blade with the pin of the shaft and insert the blade until it locks in
place. Then tighten the blade's locking nut (3) by turning it
counterclockwise. Take care to tighten the nut properly. Check that the
blade rotates well by turning it manually.
6. If needed loosen and remove the safety screw (1). Place the front
grill (2) properly on the rear grill (6) by making sure that the logo
Fanelite on the central stud is placed horizontally. Once the front grill is
properly installed, reput and retighten the safety screws (1) to secure
the assembly.
