Cleaning, care and maintenance
f Remove the internal filter.
f Remove the external filter. Use a screwdriver if necessary.
f Insert new external and internal filters.
5.2.3 Resetting the filter timer
f When the "Filter" indicator lights up, press the "Cross-venti-
lation" and "Differential mode" buttons simultaneously for at
least 3 seconds.
The "Filter" indicator goes off.
5.2.4 Logging a filter change
f Enter the filter change in the filter change report at the back
of the instruction manual.

Cleaning heat exchangers

Clean the appliance's heat exchangers at the start of the heating
season. If the ambient air is polluted, clean the heat exchangers
every 6 months.
The semi-shells of the fan unit are secured with bayonet screws,
which are loosened by turning 90° anti-clockwise.
f Undo the two screws on the long side of the fan unit.
f Rotate the fan unit 180°.
f Undo the two screws on the long side of the fan unit.

f Lift off the top half of the fan unit.
f Remove the heat exchange sections.
There are flow straighteners both upstream and downstream of
the fan.
f Pull the flow straighteners out slightly.
f Pivot the flow straighteners slightly away from the fan at the
top.
f Pull the flow straighteners out.
The fan does not need to be removed.
f Check the fan blades for contamination.
