Operation
1. Plug the appliance into the mains socket.
2. Pull on the end of the ON/OFF cord to switch on the appliance.
3. With one pull, "1" will appear in the positions display. One quartz tube will
switch on.
4. With two pulls, "2" will appear in the position display. Two quartz tubes will
switch on.
5. Pull again to switch off the appliance. Both quartz tubes will switch off. "0"
will appear in the positions display.
0= Off
If you notice while pulling on the appliance that there are slight vibrations which
gradually fade away, don't become unduly alarmed. This is part of the normal
behaviour of the appliance.

Cleaning and Maintenance

– Ensure the appliance is unplugged before cleaning.
– Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not put it
under a tap.
– Do not touch the quartz tubes with your hands while cleaning. Any
resulting stains could reduce the heat radiation.
– Use a slightly damp, soft cloth to clean the appliance. Do not use abrasive
products.
– Use pressurised air to clean the quartz tubes. Only use pressurised air to
clean the quartz tubes. Do not use any cleaning products.
