when installing hitch
Install receiver housing to hitch –
1. Take the receiver assembly (Part Number 76900) out of case.
2. Remove the Receiver from the Receiver housing by unlocking the
blue knob. Use key to unlock blue knob, push in the blue knob
and then rotate clockwise until you hear a click sound. At this
time you can remove the Receiver from the Receiver housing, as
shown in Figures A, B & C.
3. Install the top/bottom weather covers to the receiver housing,
see Figure D.
4. Attach the receiver housing, using (2) fastener assemblies, to the
hitch using M12 bolt ①, flat washer ②, and prevailing torque
nut ③, as shown in Figure E. Tighten the fasteners for housing
to 92 Lb-Ft (125 N*M).
Included Card and Labels –
Keep the card ⑥ in the glove compartment. Peel off the label ⑦
and apply them on the top of the receiver and door jamb
respectively, see Figure F.
