Problem - Cause
The combustion engine does not start:
� The "ON / OFF" switch is not set to "ON";
� The tank has no fuel;
Clogged fuel pipe;
The fuel tap is closed.
� The fuel in the tank is of poor quality, dirty or old;
� Pipe removed from spark plug;
The ignition cable is not properly connected to the plug;
� The spark plug is sootted or damaged
� Incorrect distance from the electrodes;
� The air filter is dirty;
� The combustion engine is "soaked" due to several
attempts to put it to work;
� Engine oil level too low;
Difficulties in starting or the power of the
combustion engine decreases:
� Water in fuel tank and carburetor;
� The fuel tank is dirty;
� The air filter is dirty;
� The spark plug has soot;
The combustion engine operates irregularly:
� The air filter is dirty;
The combustion engine gets hot:
� The cooling fins are dirty;
� Engine oil level too low;
Strong smoke generation:
� Oil level too high;
� The air filter is dirty;
Strong vibrations during operation:
� Loose engine attachment;
There is no output flow:
� The water pump is not primed;
� Suction hose has collapsed, is cut off or damaged;
� Filter / pine cone is not immersed;
� Air inlet on hose connector to inlet connector;
� Clogged filter / drain;
� The suction height (height between the filter / pin and
the pump) is higher than the maximum height defined in
the operating characteristics of the motor pump;

Solution
� Set the "ON / OFF" switch to the "ON" position;
� Fill the tank with fuel;
Clean the pipes, unscrew the carburetor bleed and open
the fuel cock;
Open fuel tap;
� Use new fuel (unleaded gasoline).
Clean carburetor;
� Snap the spark plug pipe
Check the connection between the ignition cable and
the plug;
� Clean / replace the spark plug;
Adjust the distance of the electrodes;
� Clean / replace the air filter;
� Unscrew the spark plug and dry it, pull the handle of
the starter system several times, with the spark plug
unscrewed;
� Refit oil to proper level;
� Empty the fuel tank;
� Clean the fuel tank;
� Clean / replace the air filter;
�Clean / replace the spark plug;
� Clean / replace the air filter;
� Clean cooling fins;
� Refuel with engine oil;
� Adjust oil level;
� Clean / replace the air filter;
� Tighten the motor fixing bolts;
� Carry out the pump hardware as shown in the "Pump
hardware" instruction;
� Replace the suction hose;
� Immerse the filter more than 30 cm;
� Fit the rubber gasket and tighten well, replace if
damaged;
� Clean the filter / drain;
� Place the pump at a height below the maximum height
defined in the operating characteristics;
