Installation Instructions – Axcent Back Box use with Axcent Fixtures
INSTALLATION

Tools required:

#2 Phillips head screwdriver, torque wrench, tool for mounting hardware (by others).
1. Attach the Axcent Back Box to the wall (Figure 1). Axcent Back with Box must be mounted with hardware able to
support a weight of up to 25 lbs.

2. Locate the Lumen Select Module and connect to purple and gray wires of the Axcent luminaire (supplied separately).
Use Table 1 to select desired lumen level and wire color combination. See Figure 3 for wiring diagram.
N ote: All fixture power wire connections to be made with water proof wire connectors (supplied by others).
N ote: If lowering the fixture output is not desired, cap off the gray and purple wires from the luminaire and the Lumen
Select Module will not be used.
Dimming wires will not exit fixture when fixture is ordered with motion control device.
N ote:
N ote: Lumen Select Module cannot be used in conjunction with other external controls that require use of the luminaires'
dimming leads.
3. Attach wedge plate (supplied with luminaire) to Axcent
Back Box (Figure2).

4. Hang the fixture from the wedge plate using the wire
hanger located on the back of the fixture per the Axcent
Installation Instructions.
5. If supplied, make wiring connections to Button
Photocell per wiring diagram. (Figure 3.)
