The Dupla-Float-Switch is a water level guard
which protects water pumps, controls an auto-
matic water change or can be used for other
water level-controlled functions. It is able to
govern pumps directly.
Assembly:
1. Pull the float switch cable through a PVC-
pipe which is approximately 10 cm long.
Keep a distance of at least 5 cm between
the end of the pipe and the float body. The
float body has to hang freely at the end of
the cable.
2. Glue the same PVC-pipe, using silicone
glue, to the desired position. The lower edge
of the pipe should be roughly flush with the
required water level at which the switch is to
govern.
3. The switch can be used as soon as the glue
is dry.

4. As soon as the desired water has been
reached the Dupla-Float-Switch can either
be switched on or off.

Wichtiger Hinweis:

The switch contacts have been set in our
factory so that »floating = on« as this protects
the pump from running dry. If desired, a fall in
the water level could either cause a signal to
be given or open a magnetic valve which al
lows water to flow automatically into the aquari-
um. This can be achieved by simply replacing
the brown wire with the blue one in the combi-
nation plug.
Important Notice:
The float body must be able to move freely
with the water level. It must not under any
conditions be restricted by any objects.

L'interrupteur flottant Dupla est un dispositif de
surveillance du niveau de l'eau, destiné à
potéger les pompes à eau et à commander le
remplacement automatique de l'eau, et pou-
vant être utilisé pour d'autres fonctions tributai-
res du niveau de l'eau. Il est capable de
déclencher directement le fonctionnement des
pompes.
Montage:
1. Enfilez le câble de l'interrupteur flottant dans
un tube en PVC de 10 cm environ.
Maintenez un écart d'au moins 5 cm entre
l'extrémité du tube et le flotteur. Le flotteur
doit pouvoir se mouvoir librement.
2. Fixez le tube à l'aide de colle au silicone à
l'endroit désiré, le bord inférieur du tube
correspondant à peu près au niveau de
l'eau auquel l'interrupteur devra réagir.
3. L'interrupteur est prêt à fonctionner dès que
la colle a pris.

quand un certain niveau d'eau est atteint,
de déclencher ou d'arrêter un dispositif.

L'interruttore galleggiante Dupla è una spia del
livello dell'acqua; protegge la pompa, controlla
un cambio automatico di acqua oppure può
essere usato per altre funzioni di controllo del
livello dell'acqua. E' in grado di comandare la
pompa direttamente.
Installazione:
1. Fare passare il cavo dell'interruttore galleg-
giante attraverso un condotto in PVC che sia
lungo circa 10 cm. Tenere una distanza di
almeno 5 cm tra il terminale del condotto e il
corpo galleggiante. Il corpo galleggiante
deve pendere liberamente.
2. Fissare il condotto, nella posizione deside-
rata, utilizzando un mastice al silicone. Il
bordo inferiore del condotto dovrebbe coin-
cidere approssimativamente al livello di
acqua che l'interruttore deve controllare.

Les contacts sont réglés en usine sur la positi-
on «flottant = marche». Cette position de
commutation est destinée à protéger la pompe
contre une marche à sec. Si vous désirez que,
en cas de baisse du niveau d'eau, un signal
se déclenche ou qu'une électrovanne s'ouvre
pour compléter le niveau d'eau, intervertissez
dans la prise multiple le câble bleu et le câble
brun.
Remarque importante:
Le flotteur doit pouvoir bouger librement en
même temps que le niveau de l'eau. Il ne
doit en aucun cas être entravé par quelque
objet que ce soit.
