RUDDER BLADE MANIPULATION
To pull down the rudder blade into the water,
A) Take off the blade from the elastic in the back of the kayak. Do this operation before you put the kayak on the water.
B) Pull on the lower liaison plastic part on the elastic to the front.
C) Hook the upper liaison plastic part into the cleat on the side of the kayak
To pull back the rudder blade to its place on the kayak,
D) Take off the upper liaison plastic part from the cleat.
E) Pull toward the front the upper liaison plastic part until the blade gets into its place.
F) Replace the blade in the holding elastic in the back of the kayak.
MANUPULATION DE LA LAME GOUVERNAIL
Pour descendre la lame gouvernail dans l'eau (position de navigation avec gouvernail),
A) Détacher (enlever) la lame de son élastique de maintien juste avant de mettre le kayak dans l'eau.
B) Tirer sur la pièce de liaison du bas vers l'avant.
C) Accrocher la pièce de liaison du haut dans le taquet sur le kayak.
Pour remonter la lame gouvernail sur le kayak,
D) Décrocher la pièce de liaison du haut du taquet.
E) Tirer vers l'avant la pièce de liaison du haut jusqu'à la lame soit dans sa place sur le kayak.
F) Remettre la lame dans son élastique de maintien une fois hors de l'eau.
