• The ultrasonic cleaner may only be used with a mains voltage of 230V.
• Never directly fill the reservoir with flammable or aggressive chemicals (acids, etc.),
but use a separate glass container (not included).
• Never reach into the cleaning liquid during the ultrasonic cleaning
process.
• Never use the device for cleaning living beings or body parts
(fingernails).
• If you've noticed any transportation damage, do not connect the device
to the mains.
• Insert heavily polluted objects with the dirty side downwards and don't stack them.
You may need to repeat the cleaning process.
• The ultrasonic cleaner may only be used when filled with an adequate amount of
water (level 2/3, reservoir approx. 3/4 full, up to the MAX indication).
It's normal for the upper edges of the reservoir to become warm during prolonged use.
EXAMPLES OF SUITABLE OBJECTS FOR CLEANING
• Glasses and spectacle frames (avoid direct contact between the spectacle glasses
and the bottom of the reservoir to prevent scratching). Pay attention to any loose
pieces or any damage to the coating of the frame or to the glass. In this case, the
coating may be further damaged during the cleaning process.
• Contact lenses (hard and soft) in combination with multi-purpose no-rub liquid.
• Gold or silver jewellery, gemstones, emeralds and pearls.
• Felt-tip pens, ink cartridges and accessories.
• Dentures, brackets, instruments, etc.
• Shaving heads of electric razors.
• Delicate mechanical parts of e.g. clocks or for model building.
1. Open the lid.
2. Fill the reservoir with cold water. Minimum 3/4 full up to the
"MAX" indicator in the reservoir. Having the FC-22 operate
without water or liquid will damage the device.
3. Place the object you want to clean in the reservoir (if
necessary, use the inner basket. You may also use a
glass jar or other container. This container must be
provided with water or cleaning liquid. In this way,
the water in the reservoir stays clean.
4. Close the lid.
5. Make sure your hands are dry and insert the plug
into a wall socket. The power indicator will briefly
illuminate to indicate that the device is switched on.
