Install the camera at a minimum 10° angle and 2-10 m distance to
the area you want to monitor. The camera detects movement optimally
when the object moves across the sensor detection zone (as opposed
to straight forward towards the camera).

HOW TO AVOID FALSE ALARMS
The PIR (passive infrared) sensor is triggered by changes in temperature
in front of the camera. When a human or animal passes by, the temperature
and surface characteristics changes and triggers detection.
To avoid false alarms please consider the following when installing:
•
Do not install the camera facing bright lights. Such as bright
lamps, sunshine etc.
•
Do not place the camera too close to frequently moving vehicles.
The ideal distance between the camera and vehicle traffic is at
least 16 meters.
•
Do not install the camera where there are strong winds.
•
Keep the camera at least 1 meter away from any wireless devices,
including Wi-Fi routers and phones in order to avoid wireless
interference.interference.
