The electrical wires, or the other electrically live parts shall ne properly insulated. The metal parts of the installation
shall be grounded.

The spare parts are to be genuine parts or as recommended by the manufacturer. The use of other parts or parts
modified by a third party is forbidden and shall therefore release the manufacturer or the distributor from their
responsibilities.

4. PACKAGING, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

4.1 Attention
The manufacturer supplies the pumps with an appropriate packaging so that it is no damaged during transport or storing.
4.2 Attention
The user shall check the following points when the pump is delivered:
* Condition of outer packaging: if there are some indications of serious damage, the user is to formally notify them
on the transport document.
* The user is also check the contents: if there are any damages which could cause faulty operation of the pump, the
user is to notify the supplier within 8 days from the delivery date.
4.3 Attention
The storage conditions shall ensure good preservation of the equipment. Damp atmospheres to be avoided.

5. INSTALLATION AND ASSEMBLY

5.1 Location
ATTENTION: The place where the pump is to be installed must be dry. This place must be protected from flooding. If the
pump is installed in damp facilities, these facilities are to be properly ventilated in order to prevent condensation.
When the pump is installed in very confined spaces, a ventilation system is to be provided so that the temperature does
not exceed 50°C. Access to be provided so that the motor can be removed horizontally.
5.2 Position/Installation
ATTENTION: The equipment of the electrical pump needs to be installed near the swimming pool within 3 m max and
preferably 0.50 m under the water level, to ensure gravity feed (head of water) operation. The connection between the
valve with the fitting and other built-in ancillary equipment to be carried out with PVC piping.
The piping diameter shall be determined according to the flow. The max recommended speed in the pipes is 1.2 m/s for
the suction and 2 m/s for the discharge side.
The suction pipe shall be watertight.
For fixed installations, provided with a pump under the water level, a valve is to be installed on suction and discharge sides.
5.3 Electric connections
ATTENTION: The electrical installation is to meet the relevant standards in force in the country and shall be performed by
a certified installer. The feed grid is to include neutral and ground wires.
The grid voltage is to meet the voltage stated on the pump ID plate.
The wire section shall be big enough to withstand the current absorbed by the electrical pump unit. (Please see ID plate).
All the metal parts of the equipment shall be connected to the earth wire of the grid.
