5. Fault
5.1. Fault: Vacuum cleaner does not work or switches off during operation.
Cause:
● Maximum filling level in tank (1) reached.
● Mains lead defective.
● Vacuum cleaner defective.
5.2. Fault: Vacuum cleaner does not start after emptying the tank (1).
Cause:
● Electrodes for filling level limiting (24) are soiled.
● Vacuum cleaner did not recognize the turn-on pulse.
5.3. Fault: Suction force drops.
Cause:
● Suction hose (13), suction tube (19), suction hose/power tool adapter (15),
wet/dry surface attachment 300 mm (20), wet/dry joint attachment (18),
handle (17), suction hose connecting nozzle (12) blocked.
● Filter bag, polythene (PE) disposal bag, tank (1) are full.
● Filter cover (9) is open
● Flat folded filter (10) soiled/defective.
5.4. Fault: Dust escapes when sucking.
Cause:
● Wrong installation position of the flat folded filter (10).
● Flat folded filter (10) soiled/defective.
● Suction hose (13) defective
● Vacuum cleaner top part (2) not mounted/snapped in correctly
5.5. Fault: Electrodes for filling level limiting (24) do not respond.
Cause:
● Electrodes for filling level limiting (24) are soiled.
● Sucking of non-conductive liquids.
5.6. Fault: Acoustic signal sounds (Pull M).
Cause:
● Suction hose diameter selector switch (14) not set to suction hose diameter.
● Filter bag, polythene (PE) disposal bag, tank are full.
● Suction hose (13), suction tube (19), suction hose/power tool adapter (15),
wet/dry surface attachment 300 mm (20), wet/dry joint attachment (18),
handle (17), suction hose connecting nozzle (12) blocked.
5.7. Fault: Automatic filter cleaning not working.
Cause:
● On/off switch (21) not switched on
● Automatic filter cleaning switch (23) switched off.
● Suction hose (13) is not connected to the suction hose connecting
nozzle (12)
6. Disposal
Electrical devices may not be thrown into the domestic waste at the end of use.
They must be disposed of according to the legal regulations.

7. Manufacturer's Warranty

The warranty period shall be 12 months from delivery of the new product to the
first user. The date of delivery shall be documented by the submission of the
original purchase documents, which must include the date of purchase and the
designation of the product. All functional defects occurring within the warranty
period, which are clearly the consequence of defects in production or materials,
will be remedied free of charge. The remedy of defects shall not extend or
renew the warranty period for the product. Damage attributable to natural wear
and tear, incorrect treatment or misuse, failure to observe the operational
instructions, unsuitable operating materials, excessive demand, use for unau-
thorized purposes, interventions by the customer or a third party or other
reasons, for which ROLLER is not responsible, shall be excluded from the
warranty
Services under the warranty may only be provided by customer service stations
authorized for this purpose by ROLLER. Complaints will only be accepted if
the product is returned to a customer service station authorized by ROLLER
without prior interference in an unassembled condition. Replaced products and
parts shall become the property of ROLLER.
The user shall be responsible for the cost of shipping and returning the product.
The legal rights of the user, in particular the right to make claims against the
seller under the warranty terms, shall not be affected. This manufacturer's
warranty only applies for new products which are purchased in the European
Union, in Norway or in Switzerland.

Remedy:
● Empty the tank
● Have the mains lead changed by qualified personnel or an authorised
ROLLER customer service workshop.
● Have the vacuum cleaner checked/repaired by an authorised ROLLER
customer service workshop.
Remedy:
● Clean electrodes with a brush for example.
● Switch off the vacuum cleaner at the on/off switch (21) and switch on
again after about 5 s.
Remedy:
● Clear blockage
● Dispose of filter bag, polythene (PE) disposal bag, empty tank
● Close filter cover
● Change flat folded filter
Remedy:
● Check correct position of the flat folded filter
● Change flat folded filter
● Change suction hose.
● Mount and snap in vacuum cleaner top part.
Remedy:
● Clean electrodes with a brush for example.
● Check filling level of tank (1) regularly, empty the tank in time.
Remedy:
● Set selector switch to suction hose diameter
● Dispose of filter bag, polythene (PE) disposal bag, empty tank.
● Clear blockage
Remedy:
● Switch on on/off switch
● Switch on automatic filter cleaning switch
● Connect suction hose
This warranty is subject to German law with the exclusion of the United Nations
Convention on Contracts for the International Sales of Goods (CISG).
