Always use the supplied fastening hardware to rig-

idly secure the Cradle. An unsecured Cradle could
cause a unit to move and interfere with the proper
operation of the vehicle.
When installing the Cradle refer to the following procedure or modify
the procedure to suit your type of vehicle:
1. Using one of the scissor bracket halves as a template, position the
bracket half so that the pivot end of the bracket is toward the bottom
of the Cradle.
a. Using an awl or similar device, make four holes in the carpet at
marked locations. This will prevent damage to the carpet when
drilling.
b. Mark and drill holes, then securely mount the bracket half using
the four metal screws supplies.
c. Secure the cradle to the mounting bracket and connect its cable
to the Junction Box.
