Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning the appliance, check that it is disconnected from the mains and wait until it is completely cold.
Clean the outside of the housing with a moist cloth. Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives, such as metallic
scourers, which may deteriorate the surfaces of the appliance.
In the case of questions or problems, turn to customer support department.
Safety Notes
•
Only connect the appliance to a single-phase socket with a main voltage as specified on the rating
plate.
•
This appliance must not be used by persons (including children) with physical, sensory or mental
impairments unless they have been instructed in its correct use by a responsible adult.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
•
Do not use the appliance in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
•
Do not use the appliance with a programmer, timer or any other device that switched the heater on
automatically. It is because fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
•
Do not cover up the cable or run it under the carpet. Make sure that the cable is out of the way and
not likely to trip anyone up.
•
Do not position the appliance in close proximity to curtains or other combustible materials.
•
Keep combustible material such as furniture, bedding and any other combustible materials at least
30cm from the appliance.
•
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. If the appliance or plug should accidently
become wet, disconnect the power immediately and have the appliance checked by an electrician
before using it again. Never attempt to open the appliance yourself.
•
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
•
Never pull the plug out of the socket with wet hands.
•
This appliance is not suitable for commercial use.
•
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
•
Never leave the appliance unattached while it is in use.
•
Keep the appliance out of the reach of children while in function and cooling.
•
Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and each time before it is
cleaned.
•
Never use the cable to carry the appliance.
