General advises - The Hi-Speed has been developed with the e-bike software versions released ta

the purchasing date. By updating the e-bike software, the Hi-speed and the motor may generate errors or
be permanently damaged by the ant-tuning devices installed on some motors. In this case the Hi-Speed
is not covered by nay warranty and we decline any responsibility. The update of the e-bike software is
allowed ONLY after removing the Hi-Speed, but its functioning will not be granted.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Caution: - it cannot be installed on models with electronic shift.
To switch the Hi-Speed device on and off it is required to activate or deactivate the lights button. When
the Hi-Speed is active, the tachometer will always show half of the speed and kms travelled. To know
the real speed and kms travelled it's enough to double the figures. To make the Hi-speed working it is
mandatory to activate the lights exit on the
Shimano E-Bike with SM-PCE1 interface. Contact the Shimano dealer to activate it. Otherwise for the
models equipped with Booth, activate the light exit using the App E-Tube project by Shimano.

PHOTO 1 – remove the plastic case and disconnect the wheel sensor cable.
Choose one of the 2 options, if Hi-Speed always active OR Hi-Speed active/deactivated through the
light key.
-Hi-speed ACTIVE/DEACTIVATED thorough the light key: remove of 1cm of sheath from the red
cable and connect it to the +motor clamp (photo 2)

To make the Hi-speed working it is mandatory to activate the lights exit on the Shimano E-Bike with
SM-PCE1 interface. Contact the Shimano dealer to activate it. Otherwise for the models equipped with
Bluetooth, activate the light exit using the E-Tube Project Shimano App
- Hi-speed ALWAYS active: remove 1cm of sheath form the red cable and connect them together (if
possible, weld them with a soft-welder) and insolate them with the heat shrink sheath supplied (Photo 3).

Caution! NEVER connect the violet cable in the + motor clamp; the device will be irreparably damaged.

PHOTO 4 – Connect the blue cable A to the motor in place of the wheel sensor. Insert the heat shrink
tubing on cable B and connect it to the wheel sensor.

PHOTO 6 – Remove the small rubber place behind the battery plug
PHOTO 7 – Place the double-sided tape on the Hi-Speed and fix it between the motor and the Shimano
big plug.

Follow the same assembly process of STEPS E8000. Connectors only are different: they are placed on the
right side of the motor (see drawing)

ISTRUZIONI DI MONTAGGIO
Attenzione: non compatibile sui modelli con cambio elettronico.
Per accendere o spegnere il dispositivo Hi-Speed è necessario attivare o disattivare il pulsante luci.

Quando Hi-Speed è attivo, il tachimetro segnerà sempre la metà dei Km/h della vostra velocità effettiva
e dei Km percorsi. Per sapere velocità e Km percorsi basterà raddoppiare il valore. Affinché l'Hi-Speed
Lichtleistung
funzioni, è obbligatorio attivare l'uscita luci sulla e-bike Shimano con l'interfaccia SM-PCE1 presso il
rivenditore oppure, per i modelli dotati di Bluetooth, attivare l'uscita luci su e-bike Shimano con l'app
E-Tube Project Shimano.

FOTO 1 - Rimuovere il carter in plastica e scollegare il cavo sensore ruota.
Scegliere una delle seguenti 2 opzioni, se Hi-Speed sempre attivo oppure Hi-Speed attivato/disattivato
tramite il pulsante luci:
- Hi-Speed ATTIVO/DISATTIVO tramite pulsante luci: togliere 1 cm di guaina dal cavo rosso e
collegarlo al morsetto del motore positivo + (foto 2).
Per accendere o spegnere il dispositivo Hi-Speed attivare o disattivare il pulsante luci.
Quando Hi-Speed è attivo, il tachimetro segnerà sempre la metà dei Km/h della vostra velocità effettiva
e dei Km percorsi. Per sapere velocità e Km percorsi basterà raddoppiare il valore. Affinché l'Hi-Speed
funzioni, è obbligatorio attivare l'uscita luci sulla e-bike Shimano con l'interfaccia SM-PCE1 presso il
rivenditore oppure, per i modelli dotati di Bluetooth, attivare l'uscita luci su e-bike Shimano con l'app
E-Tube Project Shimano.
- Hi-Speed SEMPRE ATTIVO: togliere 1 cm di guaina dal cavo rosso e dal cavo viola e collegarli
insieme (se possibile saldarli con un saldatore a stagno) ed isolarli con la guaina termorestringente in
dotazione (Foto 3).
Attenzione! Non collegare MAI il cavo viola nel morsetto del motore + positivo, il dispositivo sarà
danneggiato irreparabilmente. Con l'Hi-Speed sempre attivo, il tachimetro segnerà sempre la metà
dei Km/h della vostra velocità effettiva e dei Km percorsi. Per sapere velocità e Km percorsi basterà
raddoppiare il valore.
FOTO 4 - Collegare il cavo A al motore sostituendolo al sensore ruota. Infilare il termorestringente sul
cavo B e collegarlo al sensore ruota.
FOTO 5 - Fissare il termorestringente sul cavo B.
FOTO 6 - Scollare il gommino posto dietro alla presa batteria.
FOTO 7 - Incollare il biadesivo sull'Hi-Speed e fissarlo tra il motore e la presa grande Shimano.
- SHIMANO STEPS E6100 - 7000
Seguire il procedimento di montaggio dello STEPS E8000. L'unica differenza sarà nei connettori, che si
troveranno nella parte destra del motore (vedi disegno).
Allgemeiner Warnhinweis - Das Hi-Speed wurde mit den Software-Versionen der E-bikes
entwickelt, welche am Kaufdatum ausgestellt wurden. Mit der Aktualisierung der Software des E-bike,
könnten das Hi-Speed und den Motor Fehler verursachen oder durch Anti-tuning-Geräte auf bestimmten
Motoren dauerhaft beschädigt werden. In diesem Fall wird das Hi-Speed nicht durch Garantie gedeckt
und jede Haftung wird abgelehnt. Die Aktualisierung der E-bike-Software ist erst nach dem Entfernen
des Hi-Speed möglich, jedoch wird dessen Funktionsfähigkeit nicht gewährleistet.
MONTAGEANLEITUNGEN
Achtung: Nicht kompatibel bei Modellen mit elektronischer Nabenschaltung.
Um das Hi-Speed-Gerät ein- oder auszuschalten, muss die Lichttaste aktiviert oder deaktiviert sein. Wenn
das Hi-Speed aktiv ist, zeigt der Tachometer immer die Hälfte Ihrer tatsächlichen Geschwindigkeit und
der Kilometern an. Um die richtige Geschwindigkeit und Kilometern zu haben, verdoppeln Sie die Ziffer.
Damit Hi-Speed funktioniert, muss die Lichtleistung des Shimano E-Bikes mit der SM-PCE1 Schnittstelle
beim Händler aktiviert werden. Bei Modellen mit Bluetooth muss die Lichtleistung des Shimano E-Bikes
mit der Shimano E-Tube Project App aktiviert werden.
- SHIMANO STEPS E8000
BILD 1 - Das Plastikgehäuse abnehmen und das Kabel des Radsensors trennen.
Wählen Sie eine der folgenden 2 Optionen, Hi-Speed immer aktiv sein oder Hi-Speed über die Lichttaste
zu aktivieren/deaktivieren:
- Hi-Speed über Lichttaste AKTIVIEREN/DEAKTIVIEREN: 1 cm Mantel vom roten Kabel entfernen
und an die Plus-Motorklemmen + anschließen (Bild 2).
Um das Hi-Speed-Gerät ein- oder auszuschalten, muss die Lichttaste aktiviert oder deaktiviert sein.
Wenn das Hi-Speed aktiv ist, zeigt der Tachometer immer die Hälfte Ihrer tatsächlichen Geschwindigkeit
