After having unpacked the submersible electropump check for any damages like, for
instance, on the diaphragm cover, outer casing, connections or motor cable.
If damage is found report it immediately to the supplier.
_____________________________________________________________
If the motor cable is damaged there is a risk of death due to electric shock.
Do not install the motor or turn it on.
_____________________________________________________________
Do not leave the motor without liquid inside as it could cause the rotor to jam.
Do not install the motor or turn it on.
_____________________________________________________________
→ For safe storage after a previous installation, the electropump must be thoroughly cleaned (never
ever use hydrocarbon based products for this purpose). The hydraulic part must be dried inside
with a jet of forced air.
To avoid damaging the environment:
Prevent contamination due to lubricants, detergents, etc.
Dispose of the submersible electropump and packaging materials in accordance with the
law and with respect for the environment.
Comply with local laws.
Comply with the storage temperature (from –15 to +50°C, see the
technical data sheet).
For temperatures below -15°C the concentration of polypropylene
glycols will have to be increased (e.g. a concentration equivalent to
50% for a minimum temperature equal to -35°C).
