EN Z1 ZIGBEE CONTROL STATION
COMPATIBILITY
The Z1 works with the Trust Smart Home ZigBee line and other ZigBee certified
devices such as Philips Hue (compatibility on trust.com/zigbee).
1. INSTALL CONTROL STATION
A
Connect the control station to your
modem/router using the included
RJ-45 network cable.
B
Connect the Micro USB power
adapter to the control station
and insert the plug of the power
adapter into a wall socket.
2. CHECK INSTALLATION
A
After plugging in the power
adapter into a wall socket the LED
ring will start to spin. This can take
a few minutes. Do not disconnect
the power or interrupt the control
station in any way when the LED
ring is spinning green to update
the firmware.

If the installation of the control
station is successful, all four LEDS
(in the ring) will light up green and
stay green.

If after installation a red LED
lights up:
1. Check if the network cable is
connected firmly to the modem/
router and control station.
2. Connect the control station
directly to your modem. Go to trust.
com/71168 for more troubleshooting.
3. INSTALL THE APP
Open the App or Play Store and
download the Trust Smart Home App.
4. REGISTER ACCOUNT
Make sure your phone/tablet is
connected to the same Home/LAN
network as your Z1. When opening
the App after installation the login
screen will be shown.

Press on the picture of the Z1
ZigBee Control Station.

Press CREATE ACCOUNT.

5. FILL IN INFORMATION
A
Fill in your information and a self
created password.
B
Press NEXT
6. LINK CONTROL STATION
A
The App will show a message that
the Control station is found.

Press NEXT
7. PRESS BLUE CIRCLING BUTTON
A
The App will show a message to
press the button on your control
station.
B
Press the blue circling button on
your control station.
When the message "Manual
linking required" appears, press
the "Manual" tab and fill in or
select the MAC address located
on the bottom of your Z1.
8. APP USAGE
Go to trust.com/71168 to check the
online manual for general App usage.
