Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning it.

Do not get the base or electric parts wet or submerge them in water or any
other liquid.

Do not use abrasive materials or chemicals to clean the kettle.
•
Clean the outside of the kettle body by wiping it with a wet well-wrung sponge
or cloth.

To clean and descale inside the kettle, fill the kettle with 600ml water and
600ml vinegar (a ratio of 1:1 of water and vinegar). Plug in and switch on the
kettle and bring it to the boil. Once boiled, allow to cool for few minutes and
then empty into the kitchen sink.
•
Allow the kettle to cool down, then refill with fresh water and bring it to the boil
again. Once boiled, empty the water into the sink. Repeat this step two more
times.
