1. Remove all of the packaging materials. Check that there are no parts missing.
2. Clean the outside of the kettle body by wiping it with a wet well-wrung sponge
or cloth.
3. Ensure that the spout filter is fitted in the spout properly.
4. Fill the kettle with 600ml water and 600ml vinegar (a ratio of 1:1 of water and
vinegar). Switch on the kettle and bring it to the boil. Once boiled, allow to
cool for few minutes and then empty into the kitchen sink.
5. Allow the kettle to cool down, then refill with fresh water and bring it to a boil
again. Once boiled, empty the water out into the sink. Repeat this step two
more times.
1. Place your kettle onto your kitchen countertop positioned to the rear of the
surface. Plug the power cable into the closest mains plug socket.
2. Press the lid release button(2)
3. Fill the kettle with the amount of water you require. Do not fill with more than
1.7 litres of water.
4. Close the lid by pressing the front of it down to click it into place.
5. Press the power switch(6) to switch the kettle on. The power indicator
will light up while the kettle works to boil the water. The switch will turn off
automatically once the water has boiled. If you wish to stop the kettle before it
has finished boiling the water, press the power switch again to turn it off.
6. After the water has come to a boil, wait a moment until the water has stopped
simmering. Then remove the kettle from the base.
7. Pour the water out slowly to avoid splashing. Do not open the lid while
pouring out the water.
