4. INSTALLATION DE LA SERRURE
A. INSTALL LATCH IN MORTISED AREA OR INSTALL DRIVE-IN LATCH
If the backset of your door is 2-3/8 in., please install it now with the 3/4 in. screws.
If you use the drive-in type latch, please tap it in place.
Caution: Make sure your deadbolt latch is in the retracted position during installation.
A. INSTALLATION D'UN LOQUET DANS UNE MORTAISE OU INSTALLATION D'UN
LOQUET ENCASTRÉ
Si la distance d'entrée de la porte est de 60 mm, installez-le maintenant avec les vis
de 19 mm.
Si le loquet encastré est utilisé, installez-le en le frappant doucement.
Attention : Assurez-vous que le pêne dormant est en position rétractée durant
l'installation.
B. INSTALL EXTERIOR HANDLE MECHANISM
Place exterior handle with stems and square spindle into latch as show. Press tightly against door face.
B. INSTALLATION DU MÉCANISME DE LA POIGNÉE EXTÉRIEURE
Pour installer la poignée extérieure, insérez les tiges et l'axe carré dans le verrou, comme le montre l'illustration. Pressez-la contre la porte.
C. INSTALL INTERIOR KNOB/LEVER
a. After exterior handle is in position, install interior knob/lever and tighten screws.
b. Insert screw through washer and into bottom hole tighten firmly.
C. INSTALLATION DES POIGNÉES À BOUTON OU À LEVIER INTÉRIEURES
a. Après avoir installé la poignée extérieure, placez la poignée à bouton ou à levier intérieure, puis serrez les vis.

D. INSTALL DEADBOLT TRIM
a. EXTERIOR ASSEMBLY: Align exterior torque blade with cross drive in deadbolt
latch and square spindle with lower latch hole as shown. The lock is positioned
correctly when horizontale and the "key teeth" are facing UP.
b. INTERIOR ASSEMBLY: Insert interior trim with torque blade horizontally engaged
with cross drive of deadbolt latch as well as with knob engaged with square drive
spindle of the exterior trim through tubular latch. Fasten mounting screws to
secure interior trim. Press tightly against door face and tighten screws.
D. INSTALLATION DE LA GARNITURE DU PÊNE DORMANT
a. PARTIE EXTÉRIEURE : alignez la lame de couple extérieure avec la fente en
croix de la serrure à pêne dormant, et l'axe carré avec le trou inférieur de la
serrure, comme le montre l'illustration. La serrure est bien installée lorsque
l'entrée de clé est en position horizontale et les « dents » de la clé orientées vers le
HAUT.
b. PARTIE INTÉRIEURE : lorsque vous installez la garniture intérieure, la lame de
couple, orientée de façon horizontale, doit être insérée dans la fente en croix du
pêne dormant et la poignée doit être insérée dans l'axe carré de la garniture
extérieure ainsi que dans le verrou tubulaire. Serrez les vis de montage afin de
fixer la garniture intérieure. Pressez-la contre la porte et serrez les vis.

A. BEFORE PROCEEDING: DETERMINE HANDING OF YOUR DOOR
Stand at exterior side and face to your door.
a. Your door is a left hand door if hinges are installed at your left hand.
b. Your door is a right hand door if hinges are installed at your right hand.
c. The factory default is right handed handleset. Please skip this step if your door is right hand door or the lever style is a
symmetrical style lever. This step is only required for installing to a left hand door. Please take out the other side lever from the
accessory box, and then follow below steps to change lever handing.

Tenez-vous sur le côté extérieur, en faisant face à la porte.
a. Si les chamières sont installées à gauche, votre porte est de gauche.

c. Par défaut, l'ensemble de poignée est fabriqué pour une ouverture à droite. Veuillez passer à l'étape suivante si votre porte
s'ouvre vers la droite ou si le levier est de style symétrique. Cette étape ne touche que l'installation de la poignée sur une porte
s'ouvrant vers la gauche. Veuillez prendre le levier orienté vers la gauche dans la boîte d'accessoires, puis suivez les étapes
ci-dessous pour inverser le levier.
