Diode test
Set to " " using the selector switch. Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack
and the red test lead to the V / mV / Ω jack. Connect test leads to the test specimen.
Red test lead = anode, black test lead = cathode. The forward voltage drop is dis-
played.
Measuring range
-Forward current: approx. 0.7 mA, flyback voltage: approx. 2.5 V.

Continuity test

Set to "Ω / ◦ )" using the selector switch. Switch to continuity testing using the SELECT

button. Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and the red test lead to the
V / mV / Ω jack. Connect test leads to the test circuit. A signal is emitted if a resistance
under 60 Ω is measured.
Important: Ensure isolation from the power supply and discharge
capacitors in the circuit to be measured.
