7. Assembly
Attaching the Bayonet Hose Fitting to the 4" Diameter Hose
Attach one end of the hose onto the plain end of the bayonet hose fitting,
making sure that the end of the hose is touching the central collar, Fig 7.11.
Attaching the Bayonet Hose Fitting to the Bayonet Inlet
Place the bayonet hose fitting inside the bayonet inlet, making sure that the
male connection points are correctly aligned with the female connection slots
on the inlet, Fig 7.12 and Fig 7.13.
Once attached, rotate the bayonet hose fitting clockwise to lock in position.
To unlock, rotate anti-clockwise.
Fitting the 2 1/2 " / 63 mm Diameter Hose to the Bayonet Inlet
Attach the optional 40025 4" / 100 mm to 2 1/2" / 63 mm reducer to the
plain end of the bayonet hose fitting. Then, attach the 2 1/2" / 63 mm hose
into the 4" / 100 mm to 2 1/2" / 63 mm reducer and attach the bayonet hose
fitting into the bayonet inlet, Fig 7.14.
Attaching the 4" / 100 mm Diameter Hose to the CGV486-6 Dust
Extractor Inlet
Attach the 4" / 100 mm diameter hose to the CGV486-6 dust extractor inlet
using the supplied DX100X 4" / 100 mm easy fit hose cuff as shown in Fig
7.15.
