7. Operation

A) Receiving the outside temperature
1.
First, insert the batteries into the outside temperature transmitter.
.
Insert the batteries into the weather station at the latest within 30 seconds. Once the batteries
are inserted, all display elements of the LC display then become visible briefly. Subsequently
the time is displayed as 0:00. If there is no display within 60 seconds, then remove the batteries
and insert them again after a period of at least 10 seconds.
3.
After insertion of the batteries, the weather station begins to receive data from the outside
transmitter. The temperature of the outside area and the signal reception symbol should now
be displayed on the weather station. If this does not happen within 3 minutes, then all batteries
have to be removed and a new basic setting from Step 1 has to be undertaken.
4.
To ensure a sufficient 868 MHz signal transmission, it is necessary to maintain a distance of
no more than 100 meters under good conditions between the final installation locations of the
weather station and the outside transmitter.
B) Receiving weather data and time
1.
After transmitting the outside data the station receives the weather data and the time. The time
should be indicated after 30 minutes.
.
After six hours weather data should be received for the first time. The station automatically
recognizes in which of 50 regions in Germany it is situated and shows the weather valid for
this region.

8. Mounting

Before permanently mounting the brackets, please place all units in the desired
installation or mounting locations and check whether the outside area data are
correctly received. If this is not the case, then in most cases a slight shift of mounting
locations is sufficient for adequate signal reception.
A) Placement of the weather station
The weather station has a stand and can be placed on all level surfaces. When placing, make sure
that you are able to project the time projection onto the desired surface.
B) Placement of the outside temperature transmitter
The bracket can be fixed at both ends of the
outside transmitter so that it can be mounted
on any flat surface.
The bracket can be mounted on a wall by
means of two screws provided.
1.
For this, fasten the bracket with the help of
screws and dowels at the desired spot on a
vertical surface.
.
Fasten the outside transmitter into the
bracket.
