• Always close your eyes during radiation in order to prevent retinal injuries;
do not look directly into the infrared light. You can also cover your eyes with
a swab.
• Avoid using the lamp for long periods, since this can result in burning.
• Do not exceed the maximum radiation time of 15 minutes.
• The treatment should be pleasant. Stop at once and consult your doctor if you
feel pain or if the treatment seems unpleasant.
