tion. Loosen the knurled nut 4, turn the auxiliary
handle 3 around the machine axis to the desired
position and tighten the knurled nut 4 again.
CHANGING THE TOOL
By installing and removing accessories, please
make sure that the tool is OFF, and the cord should
not be plugged in. Pull out the stop pin 1 and swivel
it to turn the flange towards the direction of mo-
tor housing. Insert accessory into the tool holder
through the dust shield and then swivel the stop
pin back until it locks the accessory into place.
Inserting the tool
Clean and lightly grease the shank end of the tool.
Whirligig the stop pin to 180°and insert the tool in
twisting manner into the tool holder until it locks
into place. Swivel the stop pin back. Then check
the latching by pulling the tool.
Removing the tool
Whirligig the stop pin to 180° and remove the
tool.
OPERATION
SWITCHING ON AND OFF
To start the machine, push the On/Off switch 5 to
the "I" position.
To switch off the machine, push the On/Off switch
5 to the "0" position.
WORKING ADVICE
While working, hold the power tool with both hands
by the handle 8. The handle 8 can move upward and
downward around its axis by approx. 30 mm. This has
a damping effect against vibrations.
For the highest possible impact damping, work only
with moderate pressure.
MAINTENANCE
Regular inspection and cleaning reduces the neces-
sity for maintenance operations and will keep your
tool in good working condition. The motor must be
correctly ventilated during tool operation. For this
reason avoid blocking the air inlets.
The power tool is grease-lubricated. Grease chang-
ing is required only within the scope of maintenance
or repair through an authorized after-sales service
agent.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing
as waste. Machine, accessories and pack-
aging should be sorted for environment -
friendly recycling. The plastic components
are labeled for categorized recycling.
