INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Warning!
hen lling and emptying the kettle with water, the power supply cable plug
must be disconnected from the socket.
Before connecting or disconnecting the appliance from the socket, check that
the on-off button is pressed in the "0" position.
Before lifting the kettle by the handle, check that the handle is hooked to the
kettle body.
o not use the kettle without water.
oil the water the rst time the appliance is turned on. Empty and rinse the
kettle. Repeat the operation two or three times.
- Fill the kettle with cool tap water until the desired level.
Do not go past the MA le el.
Do not fall below the MIN le el.
- Close the cover.
- Insert the plug into the socket, which must be earthed.
- Press the on-off switch (7) to position "1". The operation indicator turns on. hen the water
starts boiling, turn off the appliance and turn the button to the position "0". hen the water
starts boiling, the operation indicator might turn on and off periodically as soon as water
temperature decreases.
- To switch off the appliance, turn the on-off switch to "0".
Warning!
o not open the kettle lid while the water is boiling. anger of splashing from
boiling water.
- Lift the kettle by the handle (9). Pour the water into the cups. mpty any water remaining in
the kettle after every use.
If the kettle should turn on and off during use before the water starts boiling,
check the carafe for an accumulation of scale (see Scale remo al ).
- To store the kettle press the release button of the handle (Fig. 5).
- Turn the handle until it is horizontal (Fig. 6).
- Close the handle on the kettle (Fig. 7).
- Press sideways on the kettle body on both sides (Fig. 9). Push both sides on the central
band rst, then push the kettle cover down.
Any drops of water under the kettle is entirely normal: it is only condensation.
