• Never attempt to open or repair the appliance yourself. In the event of a
malfunction, have the appliance repaired by qualified experts only!
Contact your authorised dealer whenever the appliance is in need of
repairs.
• To ensure safe operation, replace the rubber seal from time to time. Use
only original replacement parts from the manufacturer that are suitable for
the appliance.
Before the first use
Prior to using the espresso maker for the first time, please clean all
components with warm water. When using the machine for the first time, for
hygiene reasons we recommend that you prepare one espresso and discard it.
Operation:
1. Unscrew the espresso maker by taking hold of the top and bottom part of
the body and turning counter-clockwise. Remove the funnel insert.
2. Fill the bottom part of the espresso maker with water to just below the level
of the safety valve. The safety valve must be above the water level.
3. Reinsert the funnel insert.
4. Fill the funnel insert with espresso coffee powder and spread it out flat.
Do not press down on the powder!
5. Screw the top and bottom parts together again, by taking hold of both
parts of the body and turning clockwise. Make sure that the sieve and the
sealing ring are inserted properly.
6. Connect the power plug on the base plate to the power supply and
place the espresso maker on the base plate and switch it on.

7. The appliance switches off as soon as you remove the pot from the base
