4 SAFETY INFORMATION

Only trained, authorized personnel are permitted to install, service and
maintain the product. These personnel must be specifically informed about the
possible hazards and must wear personal protective equipment where
required.
• LCI Italy s.r.l. or any part of Lippert Components, Inc. are not liable nor
responsible for any loss or damage or injury caused by the improper use of
the device and/or from any use of the device outside what is found in the
"product description" and "field of use" section of this document, and
furthermore will void the warranty on this product.

The installation of this device is a modification to the vehicle and therefore it
must comply to the homologation laws of the country in which the vehicle is
registered. LCI Italy s.r.l. or any part of Lippert Components, Inc. are not
responsible for the homologation of this product.

This product has passed various tests to ensure the compliance of most law
requirements and the results of such tests are all available through Customer
Service upon request, along with datasheets and further safety information.

WARNING:

his device has electrical automated movement and can cause
damage or injury if not installed and used appropriately.
Keep clear of any moving part of the device while it is moving,
do not access the inside of the device unless the power supply
is disconnected and/or any mechanical tension has been
released.
Do not apply any weight or force on the device unless the
vehicle is not moving, the device has completed all its
movement and it is fully opened or closed.
To install the device on the vehicle chassis, original Lippert ™
brackets and hardware must be used. If not available for the
user's custom installation, the custom structure must be itself
compliant to law and safety requirements.
