Operating Instructions
Securely place the solar panel in the sun. Utilize the included mounting hardware to attach the panel to the chosen
surface (an illustration of this procedure can be found with the brackets).
For optimal power, ensure the panel is directly facing the sun.

Correct polarity must be observed for product to function properly and safely

Risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons if operating instructions are not followed

Any misuse or tampering of the product and/or any included accessories will void warranty and may cause bodily
harm

Follow all safety instructions provided by the battery manufacturer when handling 12V batteries. Always wear
safety glasses. Keep sparks, flames and cigarettes away from batteries at all times.

Under strong sunlight, the frames of your solar panel may get hot. If placed on a dashboard or any potentially
delicate surface, always elevate the frame to allow air to circulate or place the panel on a material that will inhibit
heat transfer.
Installation:
Utilize the included mounting hardware to attach the panel to the chosen surface (an illustration of this procedure can be
found with the brackets). Your solar 12 Volt battery trickle charger can be installed using either the 12 Volt DC plug or
battery clamps.
(1) Installation through 12 Volt DC Plug:
Plug the 12 volt DC plug into the 12 volt DC socket in the vehicle. Make sure both ends are secure and aligned correctly.
For optimal power, ensure the panel is directly facing the sun.
The 12 volt socket in the vehicle must remain live when the ignition is in the "off" position for the solar panel to charge.
This can be checked in your vehicle owner's manual or through your vehicle's local dealership.
