Operation
Pivoting guide shoe
The shoe is pivoted so that the saw can be raised gradually to a
position perpendicular to the work while the saw is moving.
Using the saw
Before you start to work:
Be sure the material to be cut is rigid. Securely clamp small work
pieces in bench vise or with clamps to the work table. Place slight
feed pressure on the saw to cut freely. Forcing the saw will not make
it cut faster.
Plunge cuts
The saw can be used for plunge cutting wood, plywood, wallboard
and plastic materials. Use orbital motion for woodcutting and grasp
front housing and rear handle respectively. To start cut, use bracket as
a pivot point and roll saw forward by raising the rear handle. When
blade has cut through the work, continue raising the rear handle until
saw is perpendicular to the work surface. Keep saw in this position
and move the blade along the cutting line.
Replacement Parts
Only identical replacement parts are recommended.
To start and stop saw:
1. Before use, make sure that power circuit voltage is the same as
shown on the sticker on the saw.
2. Hold saw firmly. Squeeze or release trigger switch to start or stop
motor respectively.
Variable Speed
Use the variable speed (0- 3,000 strokes/min.) to acquire different
speed of the saw blade. The lower speeds are recommended for most
metal cutting, while the higher speeds are recommended for wood.
