3 Safety regulations
The symbols for safety-related notes (danger notes) used in these installation instructions have the following meanings:
WARNUNG
Warning: Marks a potential hazard with moderate risk which can lead to death or (serious) injury if it is not avoided.
WARNUNG
The inwards-folding (NIF) sliding shutters can be damaged in the closed condition by stormy winds.
Falling folding sliding shutters can injure persons or cause damage to property.
– The inwards-folding sliding shutters must be open and clipped in place in the event of stormy winds, ≥ 60km/h (37.28 mph)

The outwards-folding (NAF) sliding shutters can be damaged in the open condition by stormy winds.
Falling folding sliding shutters can injure persons or cause damage to property.
– The outwards-folding sliding shutters must be closed in the event of stormy winds, ≥ 60km/h (37.28 mph) (Safe Position)
The customer must install a wind support for open folding sliding shutters with a wind resistance class of 4 or above.
