before initial use

• Carefully rinse all removable parts (jug, permanent filter and filter holder) with hot soapy
water. Rinse with clean water and dry carefully.
• Fill the container with cold water up to the maximum level indicated.
• Run the coffee machine for two cycles using only water (no coffee). Pour away the hot
water collected.

Setting the time (24 hour display)
• If you do not make any adjustments, the "CLOCK" will automatically disappear after
about ten seconds. Press the "Prog" (Program) key to remove it or bring it back.
• If you unplug the appliance or there is a power outage, the time will revert to "12:00".
• The time cannot be adjusted when the appliance is in use.
• Pressing and holding the "H" (Hour) or "M" keys down speeds up hour / minute scrolling.
1. Plug the appliance into a mains socket. The screen displays
"12:00".
2. Press the "Prog" (Program) key once. "CLOCK" is displayed in
the top right of the screen.
3. Press the "H" (Hour) key one or more times to set the hour and
press the "M" (Minute) key one or more times to set the minutes.
