See inclosed: General safety standards.
It is one booklet which is integrative part of this manual.

INSTALLATION
4.1
PACKING AND UNPACKING
The mitre saw, complete with accessories and user's
manual, is contained in cardboard box ( L=600 mm H=380
mm W=550 mm) and is held in place by special transport
retainers. The transport position is guaranteed by means
of pivot A (fig.9).
In order to place the machine in the rest position (with
head raised), extract pivot A fig.9.
4.2
LIFTING.
The mitre saw should be lifted with suitable equipment
with full observance of the necessary precautions.
Manual handling is possible as long as it is done by at
least 2 people.
Install the mitre saw on a sufficiently level, solid top at an
ergonomically correct height.
4.3
INSTALLATION
Environmental conditions, temperature, humidity, lighting,
correct mitre saw positioning and general cleanliness are
important factors affecting
personnel safety and mitre saw capacity.
4.4
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Before connecting the machine to the mains
makesure that it complies with the standards in force in
the country of use and that the voltage and frequency are
as stated on motor plate B (fig. 1).
When using extensions make sure that cable cross-section
is suitable for its length. When using a wind-up extension
make sure that it is completely unwound so as to avoid
overheating.
CAUTION - Before plugging in, make sure that the
lock button on the release switch is disengaged (sticking
out).
4.5
PLACE OF WORK
The tool that you have purchased is a portable electric
power tool.
Only one user should operate this tool, given its shape,
weight and maneuverability.
Normal use requires that when the operator is positioned
in front of the machine the handgrip is positioned on the
right.
The right hand, when positioned on the handgrip, can
operate all the machine mechanisms. Without releasing
the handgrip it is possible to operate: the switch, the safety
hook mechanism, the turn-table rotation device, the head
tilting movement.
5
MITRE SAW ADJUSTMENT - SQUARING
The mitre saw is delivered by the manufacturer adjusted
and squared according to standard parameters.
CAUTION - Before carring out any mitre saw adjustments
unplug from the mains.
