8.3 Making system settings using the software
application
➤ Connect the SD card to a PC using a card reader.
You can make the following settings using the configuration window:
Menu item
Video quality
Video frame rate
Video format
Car information
Audio recording
Password
Speed unit
Time zone
EN
Function
Select the video quality:
high/normal/low
Select the recording frequency (frames/second):
2/4/6/8 /10/15/20/25/30
Select the video format: D1/CIF
Enter the name of the driver or the driver's licence number.
Switch the audio recording on or off.
Protect the data by entering a password with a maximum of
15 digits. You can enter up to 2 user names and passwords.
After setting the password function, you must enter the
password to play back videos or to make other settings.
Select the unit for measuring speed:
km/h, miles/h, knots.
Select the time zone.
