• In order to limit scale and dust deposits, it is advised to use self-cleaning function after
each use.
1. Fill the tank with clean water to half of its maximum capacity and turn the selector knob (3)

5. Place the selector knob (3) on AUTO-NET : water and steam will escape from the holes
6. Gently move the iron from front to back to allow water to clean entire soleplate area until
water flows out from the soleplate steam outlet.
7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 several times until water tank is empty.
8. Unplug, let the iron cool down and wipe soleplate with a damp cloth.
Self-cleaning is sufficient for the usual service. It must be done regularly (see above).
It is also convenient to clean the appliance as following.
• Unplug the mains from the wall socket and let the steam iron cool down.
• Scale and other residue can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
• From time to time, clean the inside of the water tank filling with water and shaking. Then
pour the water out.
• Unplug the mains from the wall socket.
• Pour any remaining water out of the water tank.
• Set the steam knob (5) to no steam position
• Stand the iron upright and let it cool down sufficiently.
