Warnings / Limitations: It is important that the roof system and accessories are properly and securely attached to the vehicle,
according to instructions and only used for its predetermined purpose - per instruction manual. Periodic inspections for wear
and tear of the roof system and accessories are paramount. It is the users' responsibility to fully understand the instruction
manual prior to installation. Precautions are to be taken during installation, understanding limitations of the roof system
NOTE: Where items of equipment are being carried that may induce lifting forces (surfboards, sail boards, kayaks, canoes,
ladders etc.) All of these types of equipment should be secured independently to the front and rear of the vehicle using
tie-down straps that are capable of withstanding the lifting forces (NOT INCLUDED).
Failure to correctly install and use safety tie-down lines voids all warranty and liability.
. Do not continue to use the product if excessive corrosion, deformity or any mechanical defect is detected.
. Check local and state laws governing projection of objects beyond the perimeter of the vehicle.
. Obey all posed speed limits and traffic cautions. Adapt your driving for the load being transported.
. Do not use Malone cross bars for purposes other than what they were designed for.
. Not for use on trailers or any other modes of transport other than vehicle rooftop transport.
. Failure to follow these guidelines will void the warranty.
. Remove the product before entering a carwash.

Bow and stern safety tie-downs are required for all Malone rooftop transport(s).
