The below-listed indicators are used to indicate the correct condition of the
calculator.

Mode selection

Press [MODE/SET UP] to recall the menu and select a respective calculation
mode.
COMP: This mode is suitable for basic calculations including scientific
calculations.
STAT: Performing regression and statistical calculations of one or more
variables.
TABLE: This mode displays the defined functions in the form of a table.
An example of settings the "STAT" mode: press [MODE/SET UP] and then
press [2].
Calculator settings
Press [2ND][MODE/SET UP] to display the menu for setting an input/output
format, angular mode, numeric writing, setting of statistics and contrast. The
menu consists of two screens that can be switched by pressing [▼] and [▲].
MthlO: A mathematical mode that displays notation using standard
mathematical symbols.
Meaning
The second function of a key – after the key "2nd" is pressed.
Alphabetic notation (A ~ D, M, X ~ Y) activated.
A number is stored in memory.
Activation of a mode for storing variables.
Activation of a mode for recalling variables.
Activation of a mode for statistic calculations.
Mathematic notation activated.
Angular units.
Fixed number of decimals.
Scientific notation activated.
Possible display of former or later calculations.
The displayed value is an intermediate result of a multi-level
function carried out.
