The ionizing needle (emitter) must be cleaned at least every 14 days using a dry
lint free cloth
Caution!
Risk of personal injury. The ionizing needle is pointed and sharp!
When cleaning the IONSTAR, the device must be disconnected from the
compressed air supply

soiled with conductive
particles, materials or fluids
The ionizing needle
(emitter) is too close to a
conductive material
The ionization device is
damaged

Clean the IONSTAR

Check the incoming air
pressure is within required
range on minimum 3 to
maximum 5 bar
Make sure to press the
lever completely
Clean the IONSTAR
thoroughly
Increase the distance of the
IONSTAR to the electrically
conductive material which
is causing the problem
Take the device out of
service immediately
